Imaginary and conflict: Bound in construction of reality

Abstract

This article shows the theoretical background of the research “Description of imaginary about the social conflict and the ways used by inhabitants of the La Paz neighborhood (Barranquilla) to solve it”. The terms “imaginary” and “conflic” are interwoven as determinants elements in the construction of the concrete social reality. Both terms “imaginary” and “social conflict” are specifically analyzed in their causes, determiners and ways of solution. This in order to present some theoretical referents to be reviewed at the moment of assuming researches attempting to become input for social plans of conflict solution.
