Articles will be received in Spanish, English, French, Italian and Portuguese.

2. Ethical Responsibility

The writer list should include only the professionals who contributed to the completion of the work.

Data gathering or participation in any technique is not considered a criterion for writer profile.

3. Each writer agrees to explicitly sign over the economic rights derived from the publication of his/her work. Thus, they must complete the form of cession of economic rights.

The writers must fill out the form writerizing the cession of economic rights, which is in the link below:

http://rcientificas.uninorte.edu.co/documentos/revista_derecho/authorization.docx

The completed form should be sent to the account rderecho@uninorte.edu.co

4. Articles can be:

Articles of scientific and technological research. It is a document that presents in detail, the original results of completed research projects. The structure usually contains four important parts: introduction, methodology, results and conclusions.

Case report. It is a document that presents the results of a study on a particular situation in order to make known the technical and methodological experiences considered in a specific case. It includes a commented systematic review of the literature on similar cases.

Others

Verification of compliance with the formal requirements. If the article does not fit any of the categories established by the Journal or does not meet the formal submission requirements, it will be returned to the writer, who may re-send it to the editor when it meet the requirements. The Editorial Committee gives priority to the publication of research articles, discussion and review articles (Articles type 1, 2 and / or 3 of the Colciencias Publindex).

5. The Journal has the following sections:

• Guest researcher

• Research articles

6. Being a refereed publication, the Editorial Board sends the preselected articles to anonymous evaluators, who on the basis of the scientific criteria will decide on the relevance of their publication. The evaluators shall be selected by their high intellectual capacities and academic level (Master's and Doctoral Studies).

The technique of double blind evaluation is used: the writer does NOT know which peer evaluator his/her article was submitted to, and the evaluator does NOT know who wrote the article he/she will evaluate. This is done in order to prevent the results of the evaluation from being influenced by the bias of the observer. Once the evaluation is issued by the evaluator, the Committee reserves the right to accept the article in the version it was presented, request modifications to it, make its publication conditional to meeting these requirements to the satisfaction of the Committee itself and/or of the anonymous evaluators or just reject it.

7. Written notice will be given on the evaluation of articles and if accepted the journal will inform in which number the article will be published, if this is possible. The Law Journal is a biannual publication. The receipt of an article implies that it has not been published, accepted or is not being evaluated for publication by another journal.

The journal has greater preference for texts that are submitted by authors with previous publications and citation index in bibliographic databases.

8. With article submission for consideration by the Law Journal it is understood:

Implicit authorization for the publication and reproduction of it in any medium of circulation employed by the Journal.

It is not being considered for publication elsewhere.

Its publication is accepted by all writers.

It will not be published in the same form, in English or any other language.

9. The first page of the article should contain:

The DOI system allows the identification of electronic resources, managing intellectual content, metadata management, among other benefits.

Therefore, the articles submitted to the journal must reference the DOI in the literature, if the magazine or book referenced have this code.
