A not violent ethos as counterweight to the conflict

Abstract

From the theoretical perspective of the protest social construction, there are analyzed motivations associated with the participation in social protests of pacific resistance with the political violence in the Colombian Caribbean. The results show the presence of a not violent ethos that makes counterweight to the legitimized beliefs of violence, that reflects the restructuring grade of the armed confrontation to the conflict official speech and, an emotional environment orientated to the reparation and the reconciliation politics. It is about of a public speech promoted by members of socials organizations compromised with pacific routes to confront the internal conflict armed in Colombia.
