This work aim to analyze the evolution of Andean Pact as a strategy for integrating the countries of the region. It focuses on the successes and failures to the light of the new requirements which has been produced by the new world order of the cold postwar.
It also examines Colombia rol in this organism and the perspectives of regional collaboration at the end of the present century.
