Commercial sexual exploitation of children: the life routes of abuse

We study the sexual exploitation of children contributing to the understanding of risk and situations favouring the entry and permanence of children and adolescents from the reconstruction of the life routes of individuals subject to this form of child abuse. From an ethnographic approach six life routes were achieved, 4 girls and 2 boys sexually exploited in the Center Community of the city of Bucaramanga, Colombia. It highlights the analysis and documentation of the family andsocial context of interaction and daily practices of a complex problem characterized by exclusion, abuse and stigma for children in this situationReferences
