¿Aparición de una nueva cultura patrimonial en América latina a través de los centros históricos en “reconstrucción”?

The debate on the authenticity of the built heritage is not just over. The rush to recover, rebuild, revitalize downtown over the downtown area we are face to the birth of new spaces fabricated solely from an assumed model of the historical center. What are we left with?. Some urban areas have been constantly reshaping themselves thus making it a difficult propositionto chose between the conservation of the oldest historical buildings or the permanence of newer ones but in a much better shape. The cultural judgment of any historical period based on architectural fads or identity politics cannot be overlooked. But currently there is a renew tendency to have historical downtowns adapted to the priorities of urban environs reconstituted, enjoyable and culturally meaningful.
