Eduentretenimiento en la comunicación para el VIH/sida: más allá del mercadeo, hacia el empoderamiento

Resumen

El propósito de este artículo es evaluar críticamente los potenciales y las limitaciones de la práctica del Eduentretenimiento en medios en el cumplimiento de su propósito educativo. En el documento se le da especial atención a cómo el EE ha sido utilizado en el combate contra el VIH/SIDA a partir de las investigaciones del autor en Sudáfrica (www.media.ku.dk/HIVAIDSComm <http://www.media.ku.dk/HIVAIDSComm> ) y una revisión de literatura acerca del EE en general. El campo del EE es deconstruido y evaluado desde una perspectiva generacional, y resaltan tres «generaciones» principales de EE.
