In this article. the dilemma of globalization being a concept or a process is discussed. This discussion is approached from the scope of politics, economy. technique, culture and mass media. It also deals with the topic of education and formation and the way they face the challenges imposed by the new trends of society to them. Besides, the relationships between development and globalization strategies and education are discussed.
