Abstract
Con gran emoción compartimos con los lectores y lectoras esta nueva edición de Zona Próxima, del Instituto de Idiomas de la Universidad del Norte. Son tiempos de cambio en los que estamos adaptando nuestras vidas personales y académicas a las pérdidas y aprendizajes derivados de la pandemia que ha golpeado a cada persona de este planeta y al momento de publicar esta edición estamos enfrentando nuevos desafíos que ponen a prueba nuestra humanidad. En este contexto, agradezco en nombre del equipo editorial a cada investigador, revisor y editor que ha colaborado para hacer posible este nuevo número a pesar de toda la adversidad circundante.
