Reading and writing practices of teachers in educational contexts: new possibilities to live and be in teaching profession

Abstract
This article is about the training of elementary school's teachers and their relations with reading and writing. It has the aim of problematize the use of the information and communication technologies (IcT) in the field of teacher education, based in the theories of cultural history (chartier) and sociology of culture (Bourdieu and Lahire). Using observations, interviews and official document done by several investigations of the research group, it focuses on the process by which the teachers do (re)appropriation of the reading and writing in the context of a in-service program developed in the State of São Paulo (Brazil), trying to understand the relations that the teachers establish with such practices when they are learners. For that, it focuses and asks about the strategies they use to deal with the print and the electronic supports as well their educational and professional ways of socialization and the cultural capital acquired.
