This study estimates the incidence of bullying among elementary students in Colombia and fourth estimates the effect it has on their academic achievement. The methodology involves a descriptive analysis to calculate incidence while through a linear regression model the impact on the test result being bullied is estimated. The results show that bullying affects 66% of students in fourth primary, male students mostly located in urban schools are from low socioeconomic levels. Regarding the performance, estimates show that students subjected to verbal or physical aggression repeatedly 3.7% have a score lower than their peers not victims do.
