Determination of a risk typology in function of urban planning in Centro Havana municipality (Cuba)
Keywords:
Risk, hazard, vulnerabilityAbstract
This article shows a typology of risks for the municipality of Centro Habana, located in the North and central part of the province of Havana. The article itself will be a valuable tool for the decision makers allowing them to identify the most needed and affected and in-need areas. The hazards affecting the municipality were defined linking them with the structural vulnerability of its built heritage (the homes structure), showing this way the main hazards caused by the sea flooding in the north coast, the hazards caused by the rain flooding in the south of this geographic space, and the hazard of structural collapse in these areasReferences
