The logical reasoning in university students
Main Article Content
Abstract
The present article, is a product of the investigation “Study of Logical Reasoning in students of a public university of the department of Magdalena” which was developed with students in academic semesters I, III and V, belonging to a wide group of programs. By means of the application of the Critex Test in its components deductive basic reasoning, conditional reasoning and syllogistic reasoning, we expected to determine in the subjects of the target population, their level of logical reasoning, considering the academic program to which they belonged. In general, the results indicate that there are significant differences when the students are grouped according to their academic program, favouring the programs of Medicine and Systems Engineering.
