Programm and curriculum design: one experience in the colombian Caribbean

Abstract
This paper presents a preliminary report of the research titled "Design, development and implementation of a program of cultural content in the classroom of Spanish as a foreign language" in which the authors offer special emphasis on the curriculum design. The research was conducted as a dissertation research for obtaining the Spanish as a Second Language Teacher Education Master degree at the Universidad de León (Spain). The curriculum developed was implemented with Brazilian teachers of Spanish as a second language in 2009 at the Instituto de Idiomas at Universidad del Norte in Barranquilla, Colombia.
