Impact of counseling program Cree for Calculus I

Abstract
This paper presents the results obtained under the advisory program for students of CREE Calculus I, referring to its impact on academic mortality rates. The course is taught in the first semester of engineering programs at the Universidad del Norte. CREE counseling program for students in Calculus I consists of two main activities: instructional support courses, with an intensity of two hours a week, and test preparation classes, with an intensity of three hours a week before giving each test. The activities offer students opportunities to interact with other teachers that help their academic process.
